Here at Serenity Hair Emporium we are an exclusive Aveda salon and are passionate about being an eco friendly salon. We are also passionate about making sure you get the very best experience when you visit us. We’re not happy unless you leave our salon feeling relaxed, confident and thrilled with your fresh new hair.

Aveda Salon

In 2011 we were looking for a brand to work with. Teresa was inspired by the brand Aveda and what it stands for as a company.

Aveda is based on the ancient Indian Ayurveda which heals and treats people with plants and herbs.

With having personal experience of the healing powers of Ayurveda on a trip to India, it was something that Teresa and her husband instantly felt passionate about.

On learning more about the Aveda Mission and how Aveda believed in looking after the planet, and their products are naturally derived and cruelty free, this lead the salon on the path of being a passionate eco-friendly salon.

We are the only exclusive salon in Kings Lynn and we are proud to have clients travel far and wide to visit us.

Each visit to Serenity will begin with a personal consultation, to enable us to understand your needs and expectations. During this time we will create a bespoke plan by discussing your hair goals and look to create amazing results, meeting your needs and desire to a higher level of service in our friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We strongly believe in spending quality time with our clients and we never want you to feel rushed, you will have the undivided attention that you deserve.

Sustainable Hair Care with Aveda

When the salon started in 1992, it was a family business run by Teresa and her Mum. From the very start they have put their heart and soul into creating a safe, warm,  and tranquil environment to work in and, more importantly, welcome clients to.

In 2011 the salon moved to a different location and Teresa took on the running of the salon, leading up to her Mum’s retirement. But sadly, in 2023, the salon suffered a devastating flood which forced us to move from that premises to a new location where we are currently. It was a very difficult and unsettling time for the salon, but we tried to stay positive and continued to focus on looking after our clients in the same professional and caring way.

We have created a new calming space within the new premises, continuing to offer a higher level of service using the same ethos that our clients have come to expect. We hope you will love our new space as much as we do and look forward to your visit.
